WEB & DIGITAL
If you don’t have an online presence, you don’t exist. That’s not the case, but it’s certainly how it feels in today’s digital world.
Our web & digital work doesn’t start and end with websites, we work across multiple platforms and formats to deliver a consistent ‘joined-up’ approach that covers mobile-first web design, digital marketing and social media.

WEB & DIGITAL CASE STUDY: MOBILE FIRST DESIGN
In today’s digital age, nothing stands still for very long, and we have to move with the times.
It’s estimated that over 45% of the world’s population now uses the world wide web and as many as 80% of internet users look at websites on mobile devices.
Our websites aren’t responsive – they’re designed mobile first. This means that the content of our clients’ websites doesn’t just respond to browser size, but the assets, menus and headers are designed sometimes entirely differently for mobile, tablet and desktop viewing.
In 2016, we were asked by our client, Durham Oktoberfest – the region’s biggest manufacturing and engineering exhibition, to revamp a website that had been previously designed by another agency.
One of the existing website’s weakest points was its mobile design. The content was responsive yet still not mobile friendly.
Our revised, bespoke-designed, mobile version of the website helped to eradicate complaints from exhibitors who, during the 2015 event, had commented that the website was inaccessible and difficult to navigate, particularly on mobile on the day of the event.
